The demand
for improved maintenance to potable water and engine
cooling systems brings to the market a new product with
the ability to do a "Quick Change" winterizing and
flushing functions. This permanently installed tank
system can deliver a wide range of products to the many
onboard boat systems. It could be a chlorine solution in
the spring to sanitize the fresh water system, or
antifreeze (propylene glycol) in the fall to prevent
freezing of the air conditioning unit, generator, engine
or potable water system.
This product
can also reduce the maintenance cost of salt water-cooling
systems by extending zinc life. By isolating (closing
thru hull valve) these systems and flushing them with fresh
water, de-salting, or antifreeze (propylene glycol), you
can reduce the galvanic corrosion, which is extremely
damaging to the many parts.
By using
ball valves in conjunction with the tank system you can
create separate zones with the ability to winterize or
de-winterize each system independently of each other, you
can extend your boating season with the ability to
de-winterize and winterize your engine in minutes.
This system
is constructed from durable, lightweight corrosion
resistant polyethylene and is
available in 1,2,3 and 4-gallon capacities.
